Custom thin-line Telecaster with solid figured walnut body and birds-eye maple cap, the walnut is routed out to create the hollow pockets. The familiar telecaster shape was re-drawn to make it as symmetrical as possible and the shape of the top horn/cutaway was made to flow in one continuous curve making it more pleasing on the eye. The shape, size and positioning of the F-holes was then worked out to suit both the shape and to fit elegantly around the hardware.
This guitar has a Gibson scale, a slightly wider nut width and less fingerboard camber built to suit the requirements of the customer, but it could very easily be changed to suit the individual. It comes as standard with a birds-eye maple neck and quality Indian rosewood fingerboard. The pickups are handmade by Allan Price at Catswhsker pickups, again to suit the requirements of the customer and all the hardware is gold-plated Gotoh.
The cost of this custom made Telecaster is £3,500 which includes a case.
